Dear NHS/NMS Parents and Guardians,
As part of our continuing efforts to provide a safe school environment for the students of Norwell Community Schools, Norwell High School will host a mock emergency reunification drill involving Lancaster Elementary 5th graders on Friday, November 17, 2023.
The reunification drill involves the LES 5th grade students and staff being transported to Norwell High School to reunify with their parents/guardians.
In order to properly transition Norwell High School to a reunification site, Norwell High School and Norwell Middle School will dismiss fifteen minutes early, at 2:15pm, on Friday, November 17. Dismissal procedures will be the same as a normal school day.
We are excited about this opportunity, as it will allow us to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of our safety plans. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at (260) 543-2213. In advance, thank you for your help with the reunification drill scheduled for Friday, November 17.
