Senior Kaleb Weiss has been selected to receive the Norwell ICE Program Student Spotlight award. Kaleb has been employed at Perma Column of Ossian in conjunction with the Norwell ICE Program. His supervisor at Perma Column is Mr. Ken Dearing and Mr. Robert Vachon. Kaleb is the son of Brandon and Tonya Weiss.
Perma Column is a facility that manufactures steel foundations for poles used for construction sites, pole barns, and residential structures. Kaleb has learned to operate machines that manufacture the columns. Some of these machines include the SWP [Sturdy-Weld-Plus], the Ferris Wheel, and bracket benders.
After graduation, Kaleb plans to continue to work at Perma Column as he studies to become an electrician.
