Brooklynn Huss has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Intern of the Week Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience with Jamie Lemler who is co-owner of Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home of Bluffton in conjunction with the Norwell Work Based Learning Program. Brooklynn is the daughter of Nathan and Missy Huss.
At Thoma/Rich, Lemler, Brooklynn has had the opportunity to observe the entire funeral process. She has learned to take personal care of each family as they go through the loss of a loved one. Brooklynn has learned the activities involved with setting up for viewings and funerals. She also assists with the transporting of flowers and gifts associated with each funeral.
After graduation, Brooklynn plans to attend Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Her ultimate career goal is to become a funeral home director.
