Senior Lauren Cook has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Intern of the Week Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience with Ossian Elementary pre-school teacher Nicole Williamson in conjunction with the Norwell Work Based Learning Program. Lauren is the daughter of Troy and Kristen Cook.
Lauren has helped out considerably with small group work and one on one with various students. She has assisted with lessons, crafts, and helps by making copies and laminations. Lauren has really stepped it up assisting substitute teachers with certain lesson plans. She has also led activities in the classroom as well as on the playground and in the gymnasium.
After graduation, Lauren plans to attend college to study elementary special education.
