Senior Elijah Stutzman has been selected to receive the Norwell High School bi-weekly ICE Student Spotlight award. He is employed at the Markle Do It Best Hardware store in conjunction with the Norwell ICE Program. Elijah's supervisor is Whitney McBride. He is the son of Eli and Esther Stutzman.
As a sales associate, customer service is a top priority for Elijah. This involves helping clients find the merchandise they need and then handling the checkout at the cash register. Elijah mainly works in the areas of automotive, saws, paint, and bird seed. This includes inventory, stocking merchandise, and ordering the product when needed.
Upon graduation, Elijah will continue to be an employee in the workforce for at least one year. Then he would like to enter the skilled trades with a focus on automotive and welding.
