Senior Ryan House has been selected to receive the bi-weekly Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. Ryan is doing his experience at Hope Missionary Church with youth leader Geoff Cocanower in conjunction with the Norwell Work Based Learning Program. He is the son of Jason and Lisa House.
Assisting Mr. Cocanower with the youth has allowed Ryan to help plan activities for Wednesday night meetings. Geoff has relied on Ryan to share his thoughts as a teenager on what activities would be most effective. In time, Ryan will get more involved with lesson plans that have biblical applications. Ryan has also helped with all of the set-up duties for upcoming meetings.
After graduation, Ryan may attend college to study in the ministries. He also has interest in becoming a firemen as he currently is a volunteer in Ossian. He has undergone classes and training for this type of work.
