Senior Brady Dettmer has been selected to receive the Norwell High School ICE [Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education] Program Student Spotlight award. He is employed at Fort Wayne Metals with supervisor Joe McCune. Brady is the son of Lee and Phyllis Dettmer.
Brady has learned how to maintenance machines that do wiring for the medical and transportation industries. This involves replacing filters, electrical components, and various other check points. He also has shop duties that include organizing and salvaging used parts.
Upon graduation, Brady plans to continue his education in the manufacturing field. He will eventually attain a degree in industrial maintenance.
