Senior Elise Boomershine has been selected to receive the Norwell Internship Spotlight award. She is doing her experience in the Lancaster Elementary School Latchkey Program [Bobcat Care] this semester. Elise's mentor is Lillian Lovell. She is the daughter of Jacob and Carissa Boomershine.
In the latchkey program, Elise supervises students from Pre-K up to 5th grade. Her top responsibility is to ensure that all of the children are in a safe environment. She also spends a great deal of time interacting and caring for the students. Another key duty for Elise is to lead the children when they do activities at the playground or in the gym.
Upon graduation, Elise would like to study elementary education at Taylor University.
