Senior Emmy Heaston has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education [ICE] Spotlight award. She has been employed at the Bluffton Walmart store this entire school year with mentor Lori Wile. Emmy is the daughter of Steve and Jody Heaston.
Working as a front-end associate [cashier] at Walmart has enabled Emmy to focus on customer service. This involves assisting patrons to find various merchandise throughout the facility and perform check out duties. Emmy operates cash registers and monitors the self-checkout areas. She is very helpful with solving problems which makes shopping a pleasant experience for all customers who come her way.
After graduation, Emmy plans to attend Indiana University at Fort Wayne [IUFW] to study medical imaging [ultra-sound]. She also plans to continue working at Walmart until her college education is completed.
