On March 13, 2024 at 6:30PM in the NHS Auditorium, Norwell High School counselors and college representatives from Ivy Tech, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Trine University will be presenting important information regarding Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Credit opportunities. These opportunities allow students to earn college credit in select high school courses. Whether your child is currently enrolled in or planning to take an AP and/or dual credit course in the future, we encourage you and your child to attend this meeting. Topics to be discussed include AP and dual credit definitions and differences, NHS course offerings and enrollment requirements for each university, drop vs. withdraw policies, Core Transfer Library – transferability and equivalencies, Indiana College Core, costs savings, and how to help students find the right balance in their high school schedules.
