Senior Reghan Plunkett has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience at IPT [Indiana Physical Therapy] of Bluffton with mentors Abby Ault and William Ford who are both physical therapists. She is the daughter of Shawn and Chasity Plunkett.
A huge part of Reghan's internship has been observing the PT's as they go about their work. She has learned valuable techniques and procedures by watching the professions firsthand. The PT's have encouraged Reghan to help distract the patients as they experience painful therapy. She now understands the importance of building relationships with the patrons.
After graduation, Reghan plans to attend Bowling Green State University to study exercise science and to hopefully be a cheerleader there. Her ultimate career goal is to become a sports physical therapist.
