Senior Renee Fraze has been selected to receive the Norwell Intern of the Week Spotlight award. She is doing her experience with Rounding Providers Company out of Fort Wayne with her mother who is a nurse practitioner. Renee is the daughter of Chris and Julie Fraze.
Rounding Providers allows nurse practitioners to visit various nursing homes to meet with residents who have certain medical concerns. The NP's will read and review charts and then examine the residents. They will then communicate their medical information to doctors for further care. Renee gets to observe her mother as she meets with the residents. She has learned to do vital signs and make specific notes on each patient.
After graduation, Renee plans to attend Ball State University to study nursing.
