Senior Amarea Chandler has been selected to receive the weekly Norwell Internship Spotlight award. She is doing her experience at Smile Works Youth Dentistry of Fort Wayne with mentor Callie Brooks. Amarea is the daughter of Steven and Annette Chandler.
Amarea has spent a great deal of time observing cavity fillings, cleanings, and x-rays. She assists with the mixing of filling materials used by the dentists. Amarea has also been given the opportunity to do documentation for each patient's visit to the dentist.
Upon graduation, Amarea plans to attend Indiana University to study dental hygiene.
