Senior Hudson Kahn has been selected to receive the Norwell High School ICE Student Spotlight award. Hudson is employed at the Novae Trailer Corporation near Markle in conjunction with the Norwell ICE Program. His supervisor at Novae is Josh Markley. Hudson is the son of Erick Kahn and Jessica Sizemore.
As a MIG [Metal Inert Gas] welder, Hudson has learned to manufacture siderails, tongues, jack sleeves, and the general framework of trailers that range from 16-22 feet long. The various trailers made at Novae include landscapes, curbside. beavertail, and ATV [All-Terrain Vehicle].
Upon graduation, Hudson plans to continue welding and ultimately join the steam and pipe fitters union.
