Krista Eisberg, Data and Information Coordinator, received a special surprise from Ossian & Lancaster Elementary School Staff. The staff wanted to show their appreciation for all of her hard work this past week!

Board meeting video has been posted to the web. (First 10 minutes not captured) You can also see the video by copying this tiny url: https://5il.co/25tyo Facebook has re-published our page and we are working with them to prevent future issues with our page.

Due to Facebook security issues, we are unable to live stream tonight's meeting.

It is great being with our board members at the ISBA/IAPSS Fall Conference today. This is a good annual conference, and it is a good opportunity to connect with each other and build relationships within our team.

I enjoyed having lunch today with NHS senior, Kate Tudor. After graduation, Kate is planning to attend Taylor University to study history. Her career goal is to be an archaeologist. And . . . we both agree that the Crimson House BLT is delicious, but incredibly messy.

We do have some areas of patchy fog this morning around Uniondale and Markle. We are going on time, but will continue to monitor the weather.

Ossian Days are up and running. It was fun to help with the Ossian Revitalization Committee's pork chop dinner again this year!

Reminder: Special Education Focus Group meets tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4PM in NHS Room H200. If your work schedule does not allow you to attend, please reach to Mindy Scheumann (mindy.scheumann@nwcs.k12.in.us) for opportunities to receive information and provide input.

Reminder . . . In addition to Ossian Days this week, there is another important community event is on September 14th. The opioid crisis is real throughout this country and our community is no exception. Awareness is a key to combating the crisis. Hope to see you at this event.
