Gene Donaghy, President: Gene has served on the board since 1997 and is the current secretary; in the past he has served as a member; president; vice-president; and secretary. He is a 1973 Norwell graduate and a 1977 undergrad of Purdue; retired after 38 years with I&M and Northeastern REMC.  He is married to Marla Houtz (1974 Norwell graduate). They have 4 daughters and 11 grandchildren.  Sarah is a K teacher at LES, Renee is a PE teacher in SWACS, Trisha is the HR Coordinator at Premier Truck Rental, and Allee is a personal trainer at Black Barn Barbell. Gene is currently serving on the Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority - secretary; the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership Board - adviser; the Northeast Indiana Foundation Board - honorary board member; Northeast Indiana Regional Coordinating Council - Governor’s representative; NWCS representative to the Ossian and Markle Redevelopment Commissions. Chad Kline, Vice-President:  Chad grew up in DeKalb County, graduating from DeKalb High School in Waterloo before moving to Kendallville for a career in journalism with KPC Media Group. He later earned a degree from Ball State University in Business Administration after a career in law enforcement communications. He currently is a Director of Economic Development for Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. , working to create business investment opportunities for Fort Wayne and Allen County. Chad previously held an elected position as a County Commissioner in Noble County Prior to his move to Wells County. He is married to his wife Janessey Kline, a native of Terre Haute, and currently resides in the Markle community. Traci Neuenschwander, Secretary:  (New Board Member starting January 2023) Traci is a life long resident of Wells County,  grew up in Markle, IN and graduated from Norwell High School in 1999.  Her husband Shane is a 1997 graduate of  Norwell High School.  They were married at Zanesville United Methodist church and have three children, Kline, Korben and Magnolia.  They currently live outside of Zanesville.  Traci has been a Registered Nurse since 2003, and a Nurse Practitioner since 2018.  She is currently employed with Parkview Physician’s Group and sees patients in the Lung Nodule Clinic.  Traci says, "Our children keep us very busy with their involvement in football, baseball, basketball and softball, any free time outside of the bleachers is usually spent listening to or reading some sort of continuing education, walking our property with Shane, the dogs and the metal detector, or watching the latest binge-worthy show.  My hobbies include valiant attempts at growing a vegetable garden every year, I also love to cook".    traci.neuenschwander@nwcs.k12.in.us

Angie Topp, Member:  Angie is the wife of Dean (Chip) Topp, and the mother of Alivia, Marianna, and Gavin, all graduates of NHS. Angie is a lifetime resident of Wells County and represents Lancaster Township. She has spent most of her career in mortgage lending and is currently the Branch Manager of Stockton Mortgage in Bluffton. Angie is a member of the Apostolic Christian Church and on the board of FAM Ministries. Corey Krug, Member:  Corey grew up in metro Detroit, MI and graduated from Southfield Christian High School in Southfield, MI. He went on to attend Hillsdale College on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006. While at Hillsdale, he met his wife Cylie (Hoopingarner) Krug, which is how he came to Bluffton, IN. They have three children Ella, Palmer, and Kennedy. Corey works as a Director - Investment Sales, covering MI, OH, and IN for Berkadia Commercial.
